The Christmas spirit is in full swing on the island of Malta, with Grand Harbour Marina hosting their annual Christmas Party!
A mid-afternoon BBQ was hosted outside the Grand Harbour Marina office, with a Winter Wonderland theme including a live band and Christmas carols for owners, crew and staff to all enjoy!
For many of the superyacht crew, staying onboard during the festive time and away from their families is not uncommon. So, the #CrewCulture campaign at Grand Harbour Marina the primary aim is for staff to go above and beyond normal marina events to ensure everyone has a ‘merry’ time!
Emma Cassar, Events and PR Manager at Grand Harbour Marina comments, “The culture we are building at the marina is one in which guests view us as family and the dock as a home away from home and with turn outs such as this one we can really see this vision coming into effect. Our Christmas Party has been a great event to see new yacht crew just starting in the industry, mingle and chat to ex ‘yachties’ who now call Malta home!”
The Grand Harbour Marina Christmas Party event took place just after the (small boat) SB20 sailing race weekend, where crew are encouraged to become competitive sailors and take part in the monthly SB20 Regatta.
